Opportunities

Task: General labour to help with event setup

Skills/Requirements: Moving and lifting displays (must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds). Experience with hand tools considered an asset.

Pay: $18/hour

Schedule: September 3rd – 19th. Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.

Must have reliable form of transportation. 

Task: Welcoming attendees & scanning tickets in a fast-paced environment.

Skills/Requirements: Customer service role; must be knowledgeable about the event, friendly and outgoing attitude.

Minimum Age: 15

Pay: $18/hour

Schedule: This position starts 45 minutes prior to opening

Must have reliable form of transportation. 

Task: Sell concession items and event products in the merchandise booths, interacting with guests and assisting with purchases. Responsible for restocking and display of concessions and  merchandise. Set-up and take down merchandise daily.

Skills/Requirements: Friendly and enthusiastic. Experience handling cash, credit, and debit transactions (Square experience an asset). Sales experience is an asset. Physical strength (20lbs). Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Proper attire – this is an outdoor position.

Minimum Age: 15

Pay: $18/hour

Schedule: This position starts 45 minutes prior to opening

Must have reliable form of transportation. 

Task: Monitor pumpkin pathway, assist in the flow of traffic through the event, monitor for possible safety concerns, keeping guests on designated path, customer service.

Skills/Requirements: Friendly, outgoing, ability to speak loudly. Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time. Proper attire – this is an outdoor position.

Minimum Age: 15

Pay: $18/hour

Schedule: This position starts 45 minutes prior to opening

Must have reliable form of transportation. 

Task: Directing traffic, monitoring capacity of parking lots, maintaining guests safety, provide updates to management on parking lot status.

Skills/Requirements: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage stressful situations calmly and effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and quick decision-making ability. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Proper attire – this is an outdoor position.

Must have reliable form of transportation. 

Task: We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to  maintain cleanliness on the track and prepare hot chocolate. Responsibilities include ensuring a steady supply of warm beverages and keeping the track area tidy and safe for all visitors.

Skills/Requirements: Candidate must be able to prepare hot chocolate efficiently following provided instructions. They should also be capable of performing thorough cleaning and maintenance of the track area.

Minimum Age: 15

Pay: $18/hour

Schedule: This position starts 2 hours prior to opening

Must have reliable form of transportation. 

Task: We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic costumed actors to bring characters to life for our guests. Responsibilities include engaging with visitors, posing for photos, and maintaining character personas throughout performances and interactions.

Skills/Requirements: Candidates should have strong acting abilities, including improvisation and staying in character. Previous acting experience considered an asset.

Minimum Age: 15

Pay: $18/hour

Schedule: This position starts 30 hour prior to opening

Must have reliable form of transportation. 

Team Lead Opportunities

Task: Oversee team of ticker scanners. Ensure all team members are signed in and out of their shifts, all positions are covered, assist staff in busy times, provide customer service in times of guest concerns and questions.

Skills/Requirements: Leadership and strong communication skills, friendly and outgoing attitude, ability to identify issues and concerns with staff and guests, knowledgeable about the event, ability to troubleshoot technology concerns (ticket scanning equipment).

Minimum Age: 18

Pay: $19/hour

Schedule: This position starts 1 hour prior to opening

Must have reliable form of transportation. 

Task: Managing the merchandise booths, interacting with guests, and assisting with purchases. Oversee team of staff on route,  concessions and merchandise areas. Ensure all team members are signed in and out of their shifts; all positions are covered. Responsible for inventory and stock of merchandise store. Set-up and take down merchandise daily.

Skills/Requirements: Leadership and strong communication skills, friendly and enthusiastic, experience handling credit, and debit transactions (Square experience is an asset). Sales experience is an asset. Responsible for inventory count at the end of each night. Ability to identify issues and concerns with staff and guests. Physical strength (20lbs). Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Proper attire – this is an outdoor position.

Minimum Age: 18

Pay: $20/hour

Schedule: This position starts 1 hour prior to opening

Must have reliable form of transportation. 

This position also requires an Assistant Team Lead.
As an assistant team lead you will perform all duties of the Merchandise Crew role and cover the team lead position if necessary.

Task: Directing traffic, monitoring capacity of parking lots, provide updates to management and security on parking lot status. Oversee team of staff in parking area. Ensure all team members are signed in and out of their shifts; all positions are covered.

Skills/Requirements: Leadership and strong communication skills, ability to identify issues and concerns with staff and guests. Experience using a two-way radio or willingness to learn, ability to work with a team to communicate and coordinate in between parking lots. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Proper attire – this is an outdoor position.

Must have reliable form of transportation. 

This position also requires an Assistant Team Lead.
As an assistant team lead you will perform all duties of the Merchandise Crew role and cover the team lead position if necessary.
